A YatriSutra helps you plan trips to India's pilgrimage towns, cities and hill stations. You can get stay offers from local owners, read travel guides, build a free day-by-day itinerary and request an airport taxi, all in one place.
Q How does “Get Best Owner Deals” work?
A Tell us your city, dates, number of guests and budget. Suitable local properties send you their best offers, and you compare them and choose the one that suits you.
Q Is it free to send a stay enquiry?
A Yes. Sending an enquiry is completely free, with no payment and no obligation to book.
Q Do I pay anything online?
A No. YatriSutra never takes a payment. Once you choose an offer, you agree the price and pay the property directly.
Q How soon will I receive offers?
A Most owners respond within 30 minutes. During busy periods such as Shravani Mela, festivals and long weekends, send your enquiry early, as rooms near popular temples fill quickly.
Q Who can see my phone number and email?
A Only the properties that match your request can see your contact details, so they can send you offers. We never publish your details.
Q Why do you ask me to verify my email?
A We send a 6-digit code to confirm the email address is yours. This keeps your enquiry secure and makes sure offers and updates reach you.
Q How can I check the status of my enquiry?
A Open Track My Stay from the menu and enter the phone number you used for your enquiry to see its status and any updates.
Q What types of stays can I find?
A Guest houses, homestays, lodges, hotels and premium stays, depending on the city. You can choose a stay type in the search, or leave it as “All stays”.
Q Are the properties verified?
A Yes. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live on YatriSutra.
Q Can I ask for a stay near a temple or a particular area?
A Yes. Add a locality or landmark, for example “Near Baba Baidyanath Temple” or “Tower Chowk”, and owners in that area can respond with offers.
Q Can I enquire for a family or group?
A Yes. One enquiry can cover up to 10 guests and 5 rooms. For bigger groups, mention it in the notes when you send your request.
Q What does the free Travel Planner do?
A Choose a destination and your dates, and the planner builds a day-by-day itinerary of places to visit in a sensible order. You can then find a stay nearby.
Q Do you have guides for pilgrimage destinations?
A Yes. Our travel and Spiritual guides cover temples, including the 12 Jyotirlingas: history, darshan tips, how to reach, the best time to visit and local food and transport.
Q Can you arrange an airport or railway station taxi?
A Yes. Request an airport or station taxi, or a car with a local driver. We confirm the details with you by phone, and no payment is needed when you send the request.
Q How do I list my property on YatriSutra?
A Tap List your property, add your property details, photos and room information, and submit. Our team reviews every listing before it goes live.
Q Is it free to list my property?
A Yes, listing your property on YatriSutra is free.
Q How will I receive guest enquiries?
A When a traveller's request matches your city, stay type and capacity, you receive it by email, on WhatsApp and in your owner dashboard. You reply with your best offer, and the guest chooses.
Q What kinds of properties can join?
A Guest houses, homestays, lodges, hotels and premium stays in the cities we cover. If your city isn't listed yet, you can still register your interest.
Q Who can I contact if I need help with my listing?
A Our team is happy to help with anything, from adding photos to answering guest enquiries. Reach us through the Help centre or Contact us in the menu.
