Arambol is the northernmost of Goa's well-known beaches, historically a hippie-trail destination and now home to a long-stay, wellness-oriented community — yoga and meditation retreats, drum circles, live music and a freshwater lake just behind the beach that has its own small mud-bathing tradition. It is more relaxed and less commercial than the Baga/Calangute strip, drawing visitors who want to stay for weeks rather than days.

How to reach Arambol Beach

The far end of the North Goa coast road, beyond Morjim and Ashwem; best reached by scooter, car or taxi (roughly 1–1.5 hours from Panaji).
