About Vidhana Soudha
Vidhana Soudha houses the Karnataka state legislature and secretariat. Completed in 1956, it is built in granite in a style often described as Neo-Dravidian, and its scale makes it one of the most photographed buildings in the city.
The interior is not generally open to casual visitors, but the exterior is a landmark in its own right, particularly when it is illuminated on Sunday evenings and public holidays.
