About Bannerghatta National Park

Bannerghatta National Park covers a large stretch of forest south of Bangalore and combines a national park with a biological park, zoo, butterfly enclosure and safari.

The safari is the main draw, taking visitors through separate enclosures for herbivores, lions, tigers and bears. It is a popular family day trip, and mornings are usually better for animal sightings.
