About Lalbagh Botanical Garden
Lalbagh Botanical Garden is one of Bengaluru's defining green spaces and a living reminder of the city's long horticultural tradition. Spread across roughly 240 acres in South Bengaluru, the garden combines formal landscapes, old trees, botanical collections, water bodies and heritage structures.
For visitors, Lalbagh works equally well as a morning walk, a botanical experience and a relaxed introduction to Bengaluru before exploring the older city around Basavanagudi, KR Market and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace.
