Bangalore Palace

A Tudor-style royal palace built by the Wadiyar dynasty.

Bangalore Palace was built in the late nineteenth century and is styled after English Tudor and Scottish Gothic architecture, complete with turrets, battlements and fortified towers.

The interiors retain much of the original woodwork, furniture and a large collection of paintings and photographs from the Wadiyar era. Audio guides are usually available, and the grounds are also used as a venue for large concerts and events.
