About Hussain Sagar Lake
Hussain Sagar is a sixteenth-century artificial lake connecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Its best-known feature is the large monolithic Buddha statue standing on a platform in the middle of the water.
Boat rides run out to the statue, and the surrounding area includes Necklace Road, Lumbini Park and NTR Gardens. It is a popular evening spot, particularly for the lit-up skyline views across the water.
