About Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is built entirely in white marble on Naubat Pahad, a hillock overlooking Hussain Sagar. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, it blends South Indian, Rajasthani and Utkala architectural styles.
The hilltop position gives wide views over the lake and the city, and the temple is particularly striking in the evening when lit. Photography is generally not permitted inside the temple itself.
