About Bahu Begum ka Maqbara
Bahu Begum ka Maqbara is the tomb of Bahu Begum (Unmatuzzohra Bano), the chief queen of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula. She married the Nawab in 1743 and lived in Faizabad until her death in 1816, and many of the city's Nawabi buildings are credited to her.
The tomb was built after her death by her adviser Darab Ali Khan at a cost of about three lakh rupees. It is one of the tallest buildings in Faizabad and a fine example of Nawabi architecture that is not in the Mughal style.
From the top there is a wide view over Faizabad and its surroundings.

How to Reach Bahu Begum ka Maqbara
The Maqbara is about 1 km from Ayodhya Cantt railway station and about 2 km from Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, so it is a convenient first or last stop. Gulab Bari and Guptar Ghat are nearby.
