About Chintaman Ganesh Temple
Chintaman Ganesh Temple lies across the Shipra on the outskirts of Ujjain. The Ganesh idol is believed to be swayambhu, and the deity is revered as Chintaharan, the remover of worries. The temple houses three forms of Ganesh: Chintaman, Ichhaman and Siddhivinayak.
It is one of the largest Ganesh temples in Ujjain and a popular first stop for devotees beginning the city's temple circuit.
