About Ram Ghat Ujjain
Ram Ghat is the best-known ghat on the Shipra river and the main bathing ghat during the Simhastha Kumbh Mela. Pilgrims take a holy dip here at sunrise, and in the evening the Shipra aarti fills the riverfront with lamps, bells and chanting.
The ghat is a short walk from Harsiddhi and Mahakaleshwar, making it a natural way to end a day in the old city.
