About Harsiddhi Mata Temple

Harsiddhi Mata Temple is one of the Shakti Peethas, where the elbow of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen. The goddess is revered as the family deity of the legendary King Vikramaditya, and the temple also enshrines a Sri Yantra.

Its signature sight is the pair of tall deepstambhs (lamp pillars) in the courtyard, lit with hundreds of oil lamps during Navratri and on special evenings. The temple is a short walk from Mahakaleshwar and Ram Ghat.
