Agonda Beach

Agonda is a long, wide, sparsely developed beach in South Goa's Canacona taluk, generally considered among the calmest and most relaxing in the state. Development is deliberately kept low-key, with simple beach huts rather than large resorts, and the beach is a nesting site for olive ridley sea turtles, with a protected nesting area typically fenced off in season. It draws a longer-stay, lower-key crowd than nearby Palolem.
