By train
Howrah and Sealdah are the largest terminals, with Kolkata, Shalimar and Santragachi serving selected routes; confirm both station and river side before travel.
By bus and road
Esplanade, Karunamoyee, Babughat and route-specific terminals serve state, interstate and private buses; pickup points can be widely separated.
Always use the terminal and boarding point printed on the latest ticket; similarly named stations can be far apart.
