By air: Deoghar Airport (DGH), also called Baba Baidyanath Airport, connects directly to Delhi, Kolkata and Patna, and is about 8-9 km from the main temple area - roughly 20-25 minutes by taxi.
By train: Deoghar Junction (DGHR) has direct trains from several major cities. If a direct train isn't available, Jasidih Junction (JSME) - about 7 km from Deoghar - is the older, better-connected station, with an easy onward auto or taxi ride.
By road: Well connected by National Highway to Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi - private taxis and buses run regularly from all three cities.
