Tulsi Manas Temple, Varanasi

Tulsi Manas Temple is a marble temple built at the spot where the saint Tulsidas is believed to have composed the Ramcharitmanas (the Hindi Ramayana) in the 16th century. Verses from the epic are inscribed along the temple walls, and it often features a moving puppet show depicting scenes from the story.
