Shivganga is a large sacred tank close to Baba Baidyanath Temple. Many pilgrims bathe or wash here before proceeding for darshan, and it is closely tied to the ritual routine of a visit to Baba Dham.
It is busiest in the early morning and during Shravani Mela, when the surrounding area fills with devotees.
