How to Get to Chennai
By air
Chennai International Airport (MAA) is connected by road, suburban rail at Tirusulam and Chennai Metro; verify domestic/international terminal information before departure.
By train
Dr MGR Chennai Central and Chennai Egmore are the main long-distance terminals; Tambaram also handles important services and suburban trains connect many districts.
By bus and road
CMBT Koyambedu and Kilambakkam/Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus serve different intercity routes, with additional route-specific boarding points.
Always use the terminal and boarding point printed on the latest ticket; similarly named stations can be far apart.
