Victoria Memorial, Kolkata

Built between 1906 and 1921 and proposed by Viceroy Lord Curzon after Queen Victoria's death, the Victoria Memorial is a white marble monument set in 64 acres of manicured gardens. It now functions as a museum under the Ministry of Culture, with galleries covering colonial history alongside the building's own architecture.
