Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Kolkata

Dakshineswar Kali Temple, dedicated to Devi Bhavatarini (a form of Kali), was built in 1847 by Rani Rashmoni, Queen of Janbazar, on the banks of the Hooghly. Spread across 25 acres, it's one of Kolkata's most significant pilgrimage sites, with both spiritual and historical importance.
