Across the Manalsu stream from the main town, Old Manali is a quieter, greener quarter of orchards, old stone houses, cafes and guesthouses. It has a relaxed, traveller-friendly atmosphere and is a favourite for slow days, riverside cafes and easy walks. The Manu Temple sits at its upper end.
