Almora's old bazaar, including the atmospheric Lala Bazaar, is a stone-paved market street lined with traditional shops selling Kumaoni handicrafts, copperware, woollens and famous local sweets such as bal mithai and singori. Wandering it is one of the best ways to feel Almora's culture.
