Hyderabad Itinerary
Day 1: Old City heritage and food
Start early at Charminar, walk through Laad Bazaar and visit Mecca Masjid respectfully. Continue to Chowmahalla Palace, then spend the afternoon at Salar Jung Museum. Finish with an early dinner or guided food walk in a busy, established part of the Old City. Keep the sequence flexible because weekly closures and prayer times can affect access.
Day 2: Golconda, the tombs and central Hyderabad
Visit Qutb Shahi Tombs in the morning and Golconda Fort before the hottest part of the day. After a break, choose Birla Mandir, the Telangana State Archaeology Museum or another central attraction. End around Hussain Sagar or Tank Bund. If attending a fort sound-and-light programme, verify the current schedule separately.
Day 3: Modern Hyderabad or a full-day attraction
Choose between two styles. For modern Hyderabad, explore Shilparamam, HITEC City, Durgam Cheruvu and a meal in Jubilee Hills or the western corridor. Families and film enthusiasts can instead dedicate the day to Ramoji Film City, allowing for the long transfer and its current operating hours.
If you have only one day
Choose either Old City heritage or the Golconda–Qutb Shahi circuit; trying to cover both plus western Hyderabad usually creates a rushed day. Pre-book wherever official online booking is available and check weekly closures.
