Auli itself has very little shopping beyond ski hire counters and small shops at hotels. Joshimath's market is the place for woollen caps, gloves, socks and shawls, basic trekking supplies, dry fruits and religious items.

Look for local woollens and products sold through Uttarakhand cooperatives and self-help groups. Rent specialist ski gear in Auli instead of buying it.
