About Talacauvery
Talacauvery, on the slopes of Brahmagiri Hill, marks the sacred origin of the River Cauvery, revered by pilgrims. A small tank and temple sit at the source, and a flight of steps leads up to a viewpoint with sweeping views over the Western Ghats. It is especially busy during the Cauvery Sankramana festival.
