About Namgyal Monastery
Namgyal Monastery, part of the Tsuglagkhang complex, is the personal monastery of the Dalai Lama and the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery outside Tibet. Visitors can observe monks debating and in prayer, and the peaceful courtyards offer insight into monastic life in exile.
