About Enchey Monastery
The Enchey Monastery, set on a wooded ridge above Gangtok, is an important Nyingma-order Buddhist monastery around two centuries old. Known for its annual masked Chaam dances and its serene setting with Kanchenjunga views, it offers a peaceful, atmospheric glimpse of Sikkim's Buddhist heritage close to town.
