How to Reach Dalhousie

By air

Kangra Airport at Gaggal is the nearest airport with limited services; Amritsar and Chandigarh are larger but more distant alternatives.

By train

Pathankot is the practical mainline railhead, followed by a hill-road transfer. Narrow-gauge regional services do not remove the need for road travel.

By bus and road

HRTC and private buses connect Dalhousie with Pathankot, Chamba, Dharamshala and selected long-distance cities; schedules reduce outside peak periods.

Always use the terminal and boarding point printed on the latest ticket; similarly named stations can be far apart.
