This policy covers the YatriSutra website (yatrisutra.com) and the YatriSutra Android app. YatriSutra helps travellers find stays, send stay enquiries to property owners, request direct bookings and plan trips.

What we collect

• Sign-in details: your email address and mobile number. We email you a one-time code to confirm the email address is yours.
• Name: the name you give when you send an enquiry or booking request, or add to your profile.
• Trip details: city, dates, number of guests and rooms, budget, and any note you write for the owner.
• Technical data: IP address and device/browser type, used to stop spam and abuse.

The app does not read your contacts, photos, files or precise location, and we do not show ads.

How we use it

• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To send your enquiry or booking request to suitable property owners, so they can call or WhatsApp you with an offer or confirm your room.
• To show you your trips and their status.
• To send emails about your requests (for example a sign-in code or a booking update).

Who we share it with

When you send an enquiry or booking request, we share your name, mobile number, email and trip details with the property owner(s) concerned. We also use service providers that host our servers and send our emails. We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Sign-in sessions end after 30 days without use. Enquiry and booking records are kept so owners and we can handle your stay and meet legal and accounting needs, and are deleted when no longer needed.

Your choices

• Delete your app account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app, or see our account deletion page.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete your enquiry and booking records by writing to us.

Security

All data moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are stored in your phone's secure storage, and we store only a hashed form of your refresh token.

Children

YatriSutra is meant for adults planning travel and is not directed at children under 18.
